Vintage 1960's Italian iron stool with a gilt finish. The rope & tassel motif was popular during the time, this one takes it a step further with a leaf and vine addition. The finish is a little distressed in spots and there is a chip in one of the resin feet which has been painted. The seat is covered in an antique French grain sack. The seat padding could also be easily removed and a piece of stone or glass added to make a side table.
